Hi everyone, my name is Lydia.
Working full time as a fitness instructor who was teaching 25+ classes per week meant that there was a time in my life when I lived a completely unbalanced lifestyle. I was over-exercised and worked, highly regimented and took self-discipline on a whole other level. I ate to work, worked to live and didn’t have time, was constantly tired and was always trying to recover my energy from leading high-energy fitness classes and training people all day long.
As soon as the pandemic hit I realized something; I am a lover of life, learning, exploration, discovery, food, travelling, documenting, creating memories, sharing stories, having meaningful conversations and encouraging people in the ways I can. I love teaching Pilates but life is a beautiful thing that is super precious, and it’s not always about the work and hustle. Slowing down, bringing the cortisol down is also a nice way to be.
I am passionate about wellness and lifestyle and continuing to learn about the ways I can help support the body in aging gracefully and strong. I teach Pilates and movement, enjoy photography, journaling and documenting the moments in life that are too sweet (and delicious) not to capture. I am a wild mushroom forager, a lover of the outdoors and am always keen to travel and learn. Knowledge is wealth.
